Breadth remained strong into the close. On the NYSE volume in advancing stocks outpaced volume in declining stocks by a ratio of 6.67 to 1. This is the highest closing volume ratio since 11/7/16. Advancing stocks outpaced decliners by a ratio of 3.17 to 1.
