President Biden nominated Jay Powell for a second term as Fed Chair and Lael Brainard as Vice Chair, replacing Richard Clarida. That leaves two seats, Quarles’ VC for Supervision slot and a vacant seat, yet to be decided. The only news here is that Brainard was expected to be nominated to the Supervisory role.
