A relatively light day ahead in terms of economic data and earnings. Today we will get a second report for the week on the housing market with Housing Starts and Building Permits at 8:30 A.M. Current expectations are for housing starts to be 1210k units, a decline of -5.6% from August. Building Permits are expected to be 1275k, an increase of 2.0% from August.
On the earnings front, there are only eight S&P 500 companies expected to report quarterly earnings today.
