While the week is loaded with economic data releases, all focus on Monday will be on the Turkish currency crisis. With Turkey currently locked in a standoff with the United States, Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak is expected to announce steps to ease the markets on Monday according to Bloomberg. The primary fear in the markets is if the weakness in Turkey could be a replay of the Thai Baht failure in 1997 that kicked of the Asian Economic Crisis.
