Asian markets higher overnight with Hong Kong up over 2% on better tech sentiment, while Japan jumped just over 1% and Australia and South Korea posted modest gains. European markets also firmer. Treasuries stronger with the curve bull steepening after the big bearish flattening move earlier in the week. Dollar slightly softer versus euro and sterling, big gains versus Japanese yen. Oil up. Gold down. Industrial metals mostly higher.
